There are many misconceptions about meditation. Meditation isn’t about becoming a different person, or even a better person. It’s not about sitting on the floor for hours and trying to stop thinking or emptying your mind. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings.
You’re learning to observe them without judgment, and eventually, you may start to better understand them as well.
It’s about training your mind to be more in the present moment. There are many different meditations and you can choose what resonate with you.
In our weekly meditation class you will practice different kind of mindfulness meditation such as body scan meditation, loving-kindness meditation, forgiveness and sitting meditation.
At the end of each class you have the opportunity to discuss your experience and ask your questions to get guidance form the teacher.
